English Language Challenges

English Language Challenges

About my experience learning English at university I can say that it was different to the school method, in the school the teachers never cared about the real function of the language that in my opinion must be externalize the thing that are in your mind and can talk to other people in English.
In that way I think that the method of the university is a good one, focusing in the skill of communication of ideas talking or writing them. About the blogs I enjoy them, many times were challenging, I was always expanding my vocabulary. I think that in the first’s posts I used the same words many times because my vocabulary was weak. Now my vocabulary isn’t the best but I’m in a better way than before.
About my English I still need to improve my capacity to talk in English, do it more naturally. Also I need to expand my vocabulary and flow more, I plan to do this trying to use more the English in my day to day, thinking in English or maybe seeing series without subtitles.

Outside the English class I’m not using English language as the quantity that I should. It was because I didn’t have any instance to do it, everybody here talk in Spanish and I usually forget to talk in English or to think in the language to don’t lost the practice.

The best places to eat with Junaeb

It was a difficult topic to me, because I love food and choose the best spot to eat isn’t easy, so I’m going to write about a place to eat healthy food where I eat the most, and my opinion the one with the best relation between prize and quality, and it’s … (drum rumble)
The Juan Maestro Junaeb menu:
It consists in a salad with avocado, tomato, corn, lettuce and meat, it includes a drink that must be light or zero. It’s a big portion and it just costs $1.300 (without Junaeb it costs more than 3 lucas), I think that this option is a very good one because you can find it in every food court and it’s a healthy option not like the most of the food court options.
In my opinion it’s one of the best things that you can find in the “M Space” food court, who is the nearest place to eat when you’re in the arts faculty of the center.
Maybe you will not invite someone to eat that on a date, but if you’re hungry and you don’t have much money it’s a very good option!

isn't it wonderful?

Bon appetite and long live to the food!

estrit art

When I was younger I used to be a cabro chico revoltoso, but sincerely I am proud of that and of the immense amount of things that I did in my teens. Between that things there it's the street art, I used to fill the streets with my own and my crew tags : This isn't very egocentric? Really at that time I didn't think so, I used to see that thing of paint walls like a sport or like a game: who has more walls, the best spot, or the most beautiful letters.

I used to paint  "Figs" and "Tsf"  that are my own tag and the tag of my friends and me.

You can see some of the shit that i have painted in the next flickr links.

                                 >>>>>>>TSF GALLERY 1-TSF GALLERY 2 <<<<<<<<

Look mom it's me at 15

The king of the street, be careful little guy >:(

After that time of be a very egocentric attempt of artist (how would say a muralist), I decided to use the things that I learned thanks to grafitti  like a pulse not so bad, or the use of the different types of paint in something better, to convert the boring white walls into colorful walls, and in that way I started to paint different things, but the thing that I had paint the most are boats, because i like the boats and at that time I had an very deep and beautifully boring analogy between ships at sea and people in life.

I would like to take again the paints and the paintbrushes and get better at this.

Look mom it's me, the guy of the boats

The conclusion (according to my mom) this week is ; Paint decent things is ok, grafitties: delinquent thing.

God bless you people!
See you in Jamaica

Postgraduate studies

One of my biggest goals for my life is can solve all my problems by myself, even domestic ones, like repair a car, cook, fix the domestic appliances or repair my musical instruments for this reason
I consider take a postgraduate course of accordion build and repair

I want to be a complete musician and can repair by my own my instruments, even I would like to work repairing instruments of other people.
Accordion factory in Castelfidardo
I would like to study first by my own (I’m doing it now, and trying to build a little workshop), when I get some experience, I would like to go with one of the best accordion luthiers here in Santiago and then I would like to travel to take a course maybe with a master, or in a factory like Hohner, or any one in Castelfidardo, Italia (the town of the accordion, where are located a lot of accordion factories).

Giant accordion in Castelfidardo

I would like to study it first in a part-time system, because I’ll have to give time to it but also to other things, and if I travel to take a course I think that it must be a face to face course because the craft and repair of accordion is a thing of learning by theory but also by doing.

My future job

I don’t know very well what job I'm going to have in the future. I would like to be many things like a professional musician, music therapist or teacher of music theory.

I will develop the idea of be a professional accordionist and accordion luthier. I would like to live in Chiloé   doing classes of accordion to a lot of students and do concerts too, It was a very big dream but I think that it could be done.

I really like Chiloé and I would like to have my house with my dogs there, I also would like to travel a lot to many different places, but I like the idea of who my place of refuge be in that magic island.
Sergio Colivoro

About the salary I hope could live fine and have food all the days.

Look mom, it's me
A few years ago I went to Chiloe, and I visited an accordionist who has a lot of accordions, and who is very recognized in the island, his name is Sergio Colivoro, when I met him I was just beginning to play the accordion. He gives me a CD of his music and told me to come back the next year, I still haven’t go but I want to do it!

Don't forget of follow your dreams!

Music

(The best image that I found at internet)

In my case I like to listen music according to my mood, When I’m happy I listen to salsa or Latin music, when I’m in a sentimental mood I usually listen to jazz, or Elliott Smith that is a singer that I likes a lot, when I want to feel relaxed I listen to classical music or reggae or rap with hippie lyrics
I enjoy a lot listening and playing and also I think that when we are playing we must not forget to listen to the other people, I couldn’t say if I prefer to go to listen concerts or play in them.

In my opinion one of the biggest musicians of all the times was Astor Piazzolla with his excellent fusion on classical music, jazz and traditional Argentinean music. In my opinion he with his work was a big influence for a lot of young musicians. I think that if he hadn’t done that music, a lot of most recent music’s couldn’t exist.

For me, music is something very important, in my life doesn’t exist a day in that I doesn’t think in music.

My favorite Concert

Pearl Jam at the national stadium:

Pearl Jam concert was on Wednesday 4 November of 2015 at the national stadium Pearl Jam is a and of grunge and alternative rock from the United States formed in 1990 and active until to the present .
I was working  the day of the concert, because it was produced by the production company in which I work. Thousands of people came to the stadium, and I just thought that I was not going to get a good spot to see the show because i would be free only about 10 minutes after of the start of the concert and also, because it was supposed that I only could see the concert from the gallery, but fortunately i managed to be in the court!
When i entered in the court i was far behind, but after three songs, I don’t know how but I was in the third line, the rest of the concert was only enjoy and listen all those people singing and trying not to die.

I enjoy it a lot because i really like Pearl Jam’s music, i get a good spot to se them and I did not pay any entry.
